The Audit
Our organization audits numerous governmental agencies nationwide to identify funds owed to private individuals and businesses. The government makes no effort (nor are they obligated) to inform citizens of money owed due to any form of abandonment, other than by publishing the information in a newspaper or sending a letter to the last known address on file.
The types of funds we uncover are not included on the public government lists; instead, they are buried deep within government records, and 99% of citizens are completely unaware of their existence.
The Search
Once we have located the funds, significant efforts are made to find the rightful owner(s). Our team works with attorneys, researchers, and notaries to coordinate with the agency holding the unclaimed money.
If these funds remain unclaimed for too long, they are typically forfeited to the government agency holding them.
Paperwork and Payment To You
After you speak with one of our Refund Claim Specialists and verbally agree to allow us to handle your claim, we will schedule a time for you to sign the necessary paperwork to authorize us to begin.
